🚀 About the role
Stampix is looking for a talented machine learning engineer eager to use his skills to improve the CX of our products. As a valued member of our team, you will collaborate with the team to develop a UX-centered approach to photo printing on both web and mobile platforms. Your primary objective will be to ensure printing your favourite photos is effortless and exciting.
👷 Your mission
Making printing photos effortless, joyful & fast for everyone
You will inspire and lead the optimisation and iteration of our product design and technology to ensure customers of all levels can order photo prints. You will be successful by doing these 4 things exceptionally well:
- Customer centricity. Our customers are at the core of everything we do, and it is imperative that they have an exceptional experience while printing their cherished memories on both web and mobile platforms.
- Collaboration. We’re a very ambitious, small agile startup where everyone shares their ideas to fuel the growth of both the product and the company.
- Optimisation. Photo printing applications are not lightweight and need the necessary optimisations to ensure smooth functionality for the end-user. Your contributions to the development of our AI solutions will be integral to enhancing the overall user experience.
- Robust development. Our photos are in millions of households. Working on a product that is used by this many people requires a scalable, reliable and robust architecture.
🔍 Who we’re looking for
You are…
- Driven to deliver customer-centric products by focusing on the UX of the product. You continuously optimise and iterate on our product, for which we will expect your ideas on how to optimise & adjust.
- Not afraid to challenge the status-quo and show that by challenging your peers to show their best, but also by pushing the product to a level that is above market expectations.
- Well-versed with computer vision concepts such as deep learning, multi-modality, metadata, image processing, online learning, model evaluation, …
- Not afraid of data science concepts such as experimentation, cleaning, analysing & reporting.
- Experienced with mobile machine learning or development is a really big plus. 📱
- Familiar with MLOps & cloud computing to run production-grade models in our clouds.
- Passionate for photography is a big plus. 📸
